Peek at the Week 1-22-18

Wednesday is Early Dismissal. Please have students wear their empower shirts. We will dismiss at 1:35.

Friday is the 100th day of school. I have some great activities planned. Your child can wear 100 of something or bring 100 of something if they want or even dress...totally up to you. 

 

Now is a good time to ask your kiddo if they need new markers or crayons. 

I got a grant from our wonderful PTG and got us these 4 sound proof recording boxes!! I'm hoping our seesaw videos sound better. 

I wrote another grant and got 6 Rubik’s cubes!! Thanks PTG again! Those will be in our Math stations to try and challenge the kiddos to solve them!! You should see those on seesaw this week.

​Reading- preview the story to get ready for an adventure, use the story line to predict, retell to retain the story

Writing- get serious about spelling, use a checklist to set goals, develop dialogue

Math- count by 10 using dimes, count groups of ten, ten and some more, tens and ones​
