Today your child will come home with a wish list for the book fair. They are welcome to bring money to school the rest of the week to shop.

As the weather is changing, please help your child remember to bring a coat, hat and gloves to school. 

Also, if you could please total the reading minutes and turn them in tomorrow. We put the form in the front of the leadership notebook. 

You are welcome to send in the blues minutes tomorrow or Friday. 

Don't forgot to send in any items for the helping hands. This week is cleaning products but we can still accept anything. 

I also wanted to let you know that starting in January Ms. Church will be going to join our class to do her student teaching.

Helping hands

We have started our helping hands collection. This week is food week. 

Peek at week-a little late

This week in reading we will be working on not letting hard words get in our way, crashing word parts together, and checking that the words I read look right and make sense. In writing we will be adding a table of contents to our nonfiction books and planning and writing chapters for our nonfiction books. In math we will be adding three numbers together reviewing and getting ready for our math test next week. In science we will be finishing up exploring scientist tools and moving onto social studies unit to where we live. 

Don't forget spelling test on Friday. 

You will see a new blues form coming home as well.
